Hi folks, I apologize for using English, but my (ex-GDR) Russian knowledge is non-existent by now (after more than 20 years). Although I try to follow some posts (using translation software, of course), I haven't even managed to get a Russian Input Method onto my Windows 2000 PC So I could just register here and I hope that some words come back. Anyway, after a few weeks of using my new E590, I would be pleased if you accepted my questions: --- Has anybody figured out how to reduce the incredibly high compression ratio of the JPEG photos? I mean, 3 megapixels (whether well or badly photographed - that's another discussion) should occupy more than a few hundred kilobytes. Can the compression ration/quality factor be patched somewhere in the firmware. What do you think? While recently trying Opera Mini 4 (which works very well for me), I created a subfolder in "Other files" on the phone trying to save a web page. Saving anything did NOT work at all (0-byte files every time), but the folder remained and can't be deleted at all. The built-in delete command and a Moby Explorer demo cannot delete it. Do you how to get rid of the unwanted entry? Does anybody use the built-in E-Mail client? I (sort of) use it with 2 German accounts (Lycos Freemail with POP3 and a "serious" account, POP3 too) and I experience quite often "timeout" or "server access" errors. The whole thing is not reliable at all. Sometimes collecting the headers aborts, sometimes the message-body retrieval fails. Has anybody the same problem, is there a solution or at least an idea what the problem is? --- Thank you for any help - большое спасибо!
