I was just analysing Java Manager patch of S5230 MMGJK2 for porting the same for S5560. Could anyone help with following offset addresses:-

Comparison of two firmwares:-

1.) 0x80D84104 ----corresponding address in s5560------ 0x80CE4348

2.) 0x810EF170 (0x8C32F170 in patch) ----corresponding address in s5560------ 0x810556B0 (may be 0x8C3?56B0 in patch)

3.) 0x81E8D048 (0x8D0CD048 in patch) ----corresponding address in s5560------ 0x81E65FF0 (may be 0x8D0?5FF0 in patch)

4.) 0x80D56250 ----corresponding address in s5560------ 0x80CB7B58

Pls suggest address for "?" marks or to suggest alternative if above are not correct at all.

Phone heavily slowed down after flashing with new patches!!

Came across one more problem - now if I deselect patch CallUnlock, then font patch also do not work even if selected.

Pop up notification work, but caller name/number is not shown.

And latest problem, phone freezed, pressed end key for almost 30 seconds, repeated attempts, but could not get it switched off.

What is the difference between JavaHideBGMPopup now given by the explorer.ua and earlier given by the S5233T for S5560XEJD1?

What to do exactly for new master patch ver 2.0 for S5560XEJD1 :-

1. Copy Loader.bin to ../QuB/S5560XEJD1/Default / ------- understood

2. Copy MasterPatch.sys tp patch folder ------ understood

Now I am confused whether old masterpatch_1.0_S5560XEDJ1.smp is also to be deselected in QUB patch list??

This line given in the thread by explorer.us has confused me a bit:-

"PS:- The new version of the loader and masterpatcha work only together ! If you leave the old loader - patch will not work. If you leave the old masterpatch - no change in performance."

Is is possible to create patch TastManager for s5560 as it is now available for s5230. Sounds very exciting

I am getting problem while installing UTalk app. I downloaded it and installed it but it always remain hidden. So it is not accessible from the App folder (Games & Apps). Any solution?

Edited & Ported: vin_ishere (added few new icons, changed scripts, replaced existing icons with good quality icons, etc.)

Here is a new fully working menu for s5560. Don't know the original author for this s5230 menu which I have transformed so anyone giving his name is welcome.

PS: Create "Menuwallpapers" folder under "Res" folder and copy wallpapers of your choice into it and rename them as 1,2.... upto maximum possible of 6.

PS: Sorry for giving external link but I don't know how to upload file here. Whenever I try to upload a file an error occur "upload failed, You are not allowed to upload file with that file extension" i.e .swf. Anyone please upload it here and i will delete the external links.

I see no reason to increase the video resolution, as the screen size 15:9 => 400x240.

True but phone adjusts it accordingly. I tested the same by playing video with resolution of 420x240. Though 400 to 420 will not make much difference. Just testing and knowledge purpose. I was out for looking for a string that can enhance video recording resolution or quality (compression) and got that.

Somewhere read in the firmware bin that maximum video resolution phone can handle is 720x480 (may be player or camera).

Where did you get this number 510

FF30=65328

When I change 4130 to FF30 using BinEdit it shows corresponding number "320" to "510" under Code tab.

Tried different resolutions and now video upto resolution of 420x240 are playing in the phone.

Confirmed....patch mega on off don't work together with flashplayer.

Sorry....my mistake. Patch Flashplayer is working. Required files are to be copied to folder "Flash" created inside "Res" like /media/Res/Flash/

In patch VideoSizeLarge if we change hex code 4130 to 9130 it plays video with resolution upto 400x240 but if I change it to say FF30 it does not play video resolution of 510x240. Why?

Though after doing this it continued to play video with resolution of 400x240 but not higher.

Patch FlashPlayer for s5560XEJD1 is not working. Clicking on "Help" still opens Help.swf instead of FlashPlayer.swf
