I've got this from somewhere on the net, simply copied and pasted... but i hope it would be helpful for all those members who face the problems of low memory!

 

I.Free Memory deleting Lifeblog db file

 

(i don't know the author... So must many thanks to him... But i tested and work perfect on my N73me)

 

im not sure this is the right section but i guess it would be helpful to many guys pissed off by the huge file size of lifeblog db file in phones internal memory.

suddenly internal memory falls to 144k due to the large lifeblog.db file in

c:\data\lifeblog\database\ .which u cant delete for now.

 

1. use jbtaskman latest version and go to tools\processes and try finding LifeblogDBSERVER.exe file and kill the process

2. now u can go to c:\data\lifeblog\database\ and delete lifeblog.db file

to free memory.

3. now restart phone and repeat step 1

4. again go to c:\data\lifeblog\database\ and change the attributes of lifeblog.db file to 'hidden' and 'read only' using xplore.

5. again restart phone and search for LifeblogDBSERVER.exe using jbtaskman. Hopefully it wont be there to cause any further troubles. ! !

We know that n73 with lastest firmware is a little bit slow.let's try it to make our smartpfone faster than before..

 

SPEED UP YOUR PHONE UP TO 40%!!!!!Yes!! That truth guys!!!!! Its work on my 3230 and also 6600, n-gage and etc……… Just follow this trick…….

 

First go to ur To-do List.

Make a note and input as follows

Subject: Speed

Due Date: 29-01-2005(dd-mm-yy)

Priority: set to High

then press Done

 

Go to option again and make a second note and input as follows

Subject: Qoukie

Due Date: 29-01-2005(dd-mm-yy)

Priority: set to Low

then press Done

 

Do not exit yet. Highlight the Speed note, select Options and Mark as done.

Then highlight the Qoukie note, select Options and Mark as done.

Now, reboot your mobile.

 

-Anyway in the menu of n73ME there wasn't an icon named to do list.Try to find To-do-List in Calendar\Agenda & proced with the same procedure

i try it and now my phone run more faster.

 

III. Some another trick speed up ur phone a little

 

Click Folder Office in Menu, open Converter

Edit:

Type: Power

Unit: Kilowatts

Amount: 0

Unit: Kilowatts

Amount: 0

 

Change Log Setting --> Log duration 30 days --> 1 days or turn it off if u can ..

 

Remember if u using GSM only, go to Setting --> network --> Network Mode --> Dual mode--> GSM only ( its save ur battery )

 

Set ur theme to original Nokia Theme or the theme with simple graphic, its save more Ram memory

 

lastest ... Don't forget restart ur phone (Get back max Ram memory) sometime when u play games in long times

\10003A3F\import\apps\ - All your shortcuts to installed applications are saved in here in .RSC format, simply rename the .RSC to .RSCX to temporarily remove them from Menu, you can rename .RSCX back to .RSC later on.

\101f401d\Logdbu.dat is the log file.

\101F4CD2\Applications.dat is the file that holds the settings and locations of icons and custom folders located on your phone's MENU.

 

C:\resource\apps - The MIF files (Icon Files) Of the Softwares Installed in the phone,

 

C:\sys\data\mmcstore - This file has the Memory Card Password, Open with a text editor to view the current memory card password.

 

Some interesting facts. Not yet tested on all phone but please test yours and let me know the result here.

 

1. C:\private\10000850\

contains the mbm file of operator logos

 

2. C:\private\100059c9\start.dat

some kind of autorun trigger. I couldnt decode this file, but it is it, I'm sure.. Why I think so? Because only after renaming or moving this file, autorun doesnt work. In all other cases apps start.

 

3. C:\private\10202be9\20001079.txt

this location.. In this text file there is code, and a line which says :

then when you click save it says new cert might be unsecure save anyway? I ant got round to clicking save yet lol

this file contains the whole menu layout (N82)

 

6. I found some huge file in phone, c:/private/102072c4/reserved.bin, 4.5 Mb size of plain 0xff.

Deleted it and free up phone memory check if your phone has one.

the files are for FOTA (firmware over the air) coz when i remove it, and go to the device mgr. App it reapears, so its safe to remove it, we wont need it as we never get any FOTA updates.

Кое что я понял, про LifeBlog, сделал как там и вправду памяти побольше стало.

 

Делаем так:

 

По пути c:\data\lifeblog\database\ находим lifeblog.db, убиваем процесс LifeblogDBSERVER.exe, после удаляем файл, перезагужаемся, опять идем по пути, предварительно убив процесс LifeblogDBSERVER.exe, c:\data\lifeblog\database\ и на вновь созданный файл lifeblog.db ставим атрибуты (скрытый) и (только чтение), перезагружаемся и радуемся. Можно поискать процесс LifeblogDBSERVER.exe, если найдете то что то не так сделали, т.к. у меня заработал метод

Так же заработал метод ускорения примерно на 40% смарта, правда я вроде его уже где-то видел, но чет не получилось у меня, мож потому, что сейчас я с английским меню делал?

Подскажите, на телефоне наблюдается такой глюк: он сам звонит на первый номер в адресной книге, может можно кодом как-то сбросить всё или только прошивать?

Не только прошивать - это смарт, значит формат ему для начала.

Возникла такая вот проблема:

телефон включается , но дальше надписи nokia на белом экране не грузится и выключить можно только если вытащить аккумулятор...

Что это может быть и как с этим бороться?

Подскажите каким образом можно перевернуть экран на 73 под левую руку, то есть на 270 градусов, на сколько я понял за это отвечает файл Wsini.ini а там стоит 90 градусов. Если изменить каким не будь образом этот файл я смогу его как не будь запустить?
