here is the newest firmware for sgh-d830, work 100% ( i had before D830CBFJ2 - works 100% too) , but both have not java instaling from the phone or microsd card memory (only from wap), also have not vibre + ringtones simultaneously

 

D830CBFL1 (december 2006):

 

It don't support russian language!

 

languages in the D830CBFL1 firmware:

can someone make the patch for this firmware, so that the java can be installed from the phone memory

 

i know that they are patches java_voodo_machine for other samsung models !

 

The newest version of samsung firmware editor can't find java table in this firmware , so the patches for java applications cant be made!!

 

i have another problem ! i try replace the oryginals images from the D830cbfl1 firmware, i do make patch and have answer "out of memory" !!!

 

what can it be? how can i replece the oryginal images?

i have found with winhex the start addess of the java :

1. first start address: 0x210317B8 <-- bobbycarrot game

2. second address : 0x21056ED0 <--timerider game

 

the java table start with the 0x2159C458 address (not 0xFFFFFFFF <--so show the SFE)

i dont known size of the java table (SFE show 392, but i think it is wrong !!)

 

so, the region 3 sholuld be finally

i have try to RegionSize= circa 425417, and the javatablelength=392 , but i dont have any results by the reading of java with the SFE ver.20138 and ver 1.7.

 

The only answer for that problem is : SFE don't support fully the sgh-d830, only with the version 1.7 can we change the sounds by making the patch !!!

for Asia it have designation sgh-d838, and for latin America sgh-d836 )

sdf file is a configurations file for editing your firmware with the Samsung Firmware Editor , it is generated with the Firmware Profile generator in SFE!

 

You must put the file into a Directory "Firmwares" in the root directory of the SFE (example D:\sterowniki\sam\FWEeditor_20138\Firmwares\D830CBFL1.sdf),

I don't think it is possible to add fully support of Polish language to D830XE**** (XE is language pack) firmware versions.

IMHO, it is quite easy to replace text-string resources to Polish. But adding Polish text-input modes is not a trivial thing, you know. Frankly, I don’t think it is possible! As D830XE*** firmwares doesn't contain neither Polish T9 library nor Polish ABC text input mode.

 

P.S. I wonder if only Russian firmware (I mean D830XE**** firmware versions…) allows user to install Java apps from ”Other files” folder? And what about melody+vibration? It also seems to be the privilege of Russian firmware versions… Is it right? ‘couse I heard what direct installing of JAVA apps from ”Other files” folder is not allowed in Europe firmware versions.
